/Terms of Use
Clear terms for high-stakes science.

1. Who we are and what these terms cover
Epitorix is an intelligence platform and product company for pharma. These Terms of Use govern access to our website and to our products — EPiQ™, Xenoclea, PharmPhax™, PharmacoLaw and the Epitorix AI models — whether used through the web workspace at app.epitorix.com, through APIs, or through a written services agreement. Where a signed agreement exists, its terms prevail over this page.
2. Research use, not clinical use
Epitorix is a research and development platform. Its predictions are not intended to independently diagnose, treat, prevent, or manage disease, and they should not be used as the sole basis for patient-level or clinical decisions. Outputs inform which candidates to advance and what to test; they do not replace experimental validation, regulatory review or clinical judgment.
3. Ownership of generated molecules and results
As between Epitorix and the user, the user retains rights to the molecular outputs generated through their authorized EPiQ™ account, subject to the applicable platform agreement. Epitorix does not claim ownership of a user's generated outputs solely because they were created using the platform.
Epitorix retains all rights in its models, model weights, training data, software, documentation, brand and the platform itself. Nothing in these terms transfers those rights.
4. No guarantee of uniqueness or patentability
EPiQ™ is an AI-based generative platform, and AI models may independently generate identical or substantially similar molecules for different users, particularly when users provide similar targets, binding sites, constraints, or design objectives. Epitorix does not guarantee that every generated structure will be exclusive, novel, or patentable. Freedom-to-operate and patentability should be assessed independently; PharmacoLaw exists to help with exactly that.
5. Your data and confidentiality
Your targets, inputs and results stay private to your account. We do not use customer inputs or outputs to train models shared with other customers unless you opt in under a written agreement. Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Epitorix to design agents intended to cause harm, to circumvent export-control, biosecurity or chemical-weapons regulations, to reverse-engineer or extract model weights, to resell access without authorization, or to interfere with the service. Epitorix may suspend accounts that violate these rules and reports credible misuse to the relevant authorities.
7. Responsible AI and scientific integrity
We publish the numbers behind our claims with their qualifiers. Performance figures on this site come from retrospective analyses and internal benchmarks; a preprint describing the ranking evaluation is forthcoming. Where a metric is measured on a benchmark rather than in the clinic, we say so.
Our models are built and trained in house, on data we generate and curate, and validated experimentally before we make claims about them. Model outputs are always paired with the data behind them so scientists can check, not just trust.
We design for human review. PharmPhax™ combines AI analysis with expert human review; EPiQ™ and Xenoclea return ranked, structure-backed designs for scientists to judge. The decision remains with the scientist.
8. Availability, changes and liability
We work to keep the platform available and accurate, but it is provided as is, without warranties of fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, Epitorix is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the platform or reliance on its outputs. We may update these terms; continued use after an update indicates acceptance.
9. Contact
Questions about these terms, licensing, or a written services agreement can be sent through the contact form on our home page.
